A couple weeks ago I made my version of Buffalo Cauliflower and I paired it with these yummy BBQ style chickpeas! So easy, yummy and not overly laden with sugars and sodium that you find in traditional BBQ sauce!
Prep time: 30 mins. Servings: 8
3 cans of chickpeas
6 tbs organic, reduced sugar, ketchup
3 tbs yellow mustard
3 tbs organic brown sugar
4 tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 green onions
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder or 1 minced clove garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat oven to 350. Lightly grease a casserole baking dish.
In a medium size bowl, add all the ingredients-dicing the green onions first. Mix well.
Pour into casserole dish and bake until sauce begins to bubble and the top becomes lightly browned-about 20 mins. Remove, serve warm, and enjoy!
